My 2018 is at a ford dealership having the main seal changed. They broke the flex pipe trying to remove the exhaust. I understand I have to cover the cost of a new one but it’s going to be $1300 Canadian. I’ve had flex pipes changed on other véhicules that costed 3 to $400. $1300 sounds like I’m getting taken for a ride. Has anyone had theirs replaced? When I get out of my car I leave all the doors unlocked, and get out and open my lift gate to get the stuff out of the back. When I try to close it, it locks all my doors and honks. The lift gate won’t close because the keys are inside. I don’t want it to automatically lock my doors when the lift gate closes. A family member recently bought a 2019 Explorer ... it's actually the police version but the manual climate control seems the same as the stock Explorer. On the front (top) climate controls, he can not get the AC button to turn off. It stays lit and keeps running no matter if he toggles that AC button or what other buttons he touches. The only way to shut it off is to turn the power button off, but once you turn it back on, the AC is still on and lit.
