Hello everyone -    I removed my tailgate this weekend in preparation for a camper install, and capped the connections with the 'tailgate delete' kit provided in my glovebox.  Now my truck thinks the tailgate is down all the time - I get a warning on the dash when starting the truck, there is a light on my dash always on indicating the tailgate is down, and the truck honks twice when I lock it because it thinks something is ajar. Is this normal behavior or should the tailgate delete kit have eliminated these issues ..read more

First diesel and still learning the truck but love it so far. Slight anxiety about the regeneration and DEF until I truly figure it out….hoping for some helpful info.  Diesel Maintenance shows the following pic.  Trying to understand the regen exhaust filter percentage and DEF percentage numbers on when there needs to be a refill or regen cycle. I have a 2008 F450 6.4. 1st I got a Code P1552. Which from what I understand is Injector 2 problem. (If I would let the truck idle for a while before driving it it would do ok) So I had my mechanic Changed all the injectors on the Driverside please those little fuel lines and the Wiring harness for the injectors under the valve cover. I thought since he was going to be in there change them all and the fuel lines and the wiring harness. I ran great for about 2 weeks. Now I am getting a P0202 and letting it idle dont work. I just made a sixteen year upgrade from my old '99 7.3L Super Duty to a '15 6.7L Super Duty.  I used a carpet dash mat to keep my '99 dashboard from cracking, and it did a great job.  The previous owner of my '15 said he thought the new dashboard plastic would not crack, but he has stored the truck inside and it will now spend most of the time outside.  I would appreciate dashboard feedback from others that own Super Duty's of a similar age ..read more

Turned power on to check the manual in touch screen.I see this water temp 86 degrees started truck to see what happened. Nothing stayed there I thought it would drop to coolant temp. Drove truck to see it did climb to 162 just wondering what's going on. I tow heavy at times not yet with this truck but definitely like to see my Temps accurately when towing.
