Hello All, Does anyone know if there are alternate steel oil pans that will work on a Ford 302 EFI that came out of a 1998 Explorer? I swapped this engine into my 1954 F-100 and now there is a crack in the forward edge of the deep pan. It looks like there are pans that are supposed to work for an Explorer but this engine is not in that vehicle any more. So my F150 wipers will sometimes work and sometimes not. If they don't work, I shut off and start the truck again and they'll work. A few times they worked when key switched on, but then not work after engine starts. Last time I had to cycle the ignition 3 times before they kicked and worked (it was raining, I needed em). 97 F250 HD (OBS) My drivers door is hard to shut again. I had maaco replace the pins and bushings a couple years ago...the rigged it up cause the hinge holes were hogged out, the door never was quite right and now the bushings have failed...again. How hard is it to replace the hinges themselves? This 93 f-150 has sentimental value to me because my dad bought this f-150 for me in 2013 this year will be 11 years i have owned that truck for and i have put on a little over 10,000 miles in that time. About 3 months ago i spent a little over $1,000 for 4 new 31 inch bfgoodrich all terrain tires and 2 new windshield wipers.
