I have a 1972 f100 in primer ready to get painted. Does anyone know what the stock colors are on this truck. We have done samples and determined the lighter blue is probably Diamond Blue, or possibly Wind Blue. Im hoping someone here might have a better grasp on ford stock colors for 1971 or 1972 f100s. Any advice? Thanks ..read more

I have a 1961 F100 I am restoring. When we got the truck it had a built 1969 Ford 302. I am trying to find a timing mark on the harmonic but there are non that I see. I do not see a pointer either. In the pictures I cleaner the balancer all the way around ans see no marks. What should I be looking for? The engine has been certified as being a 69 302 by the block numbers ..read more

Hi all I’ve recently bought a 1954 f100, it has a 460 big block in it. I’m not very mechanical but willing to learn given the right info. I’m just wondering where you fill up the oil from, at a guess there’s a removable cap on top of the header. Is this where I top the oil up from directly into the engine ..read more

Hey guys, quick question. Im looking at purchasing a 68 f100, bone stock. Suspension is the first thing i want to tackle. I see QA1 and Ridetech have full kits but both are 8k+. Id prefer not to go through the hassle of a CV swap. Is there a cheaper option for better handling for a daily cruiser with maybe 450hp at some point? I dont need an autocross car just something i could comfortably drive down the coast and maybe lay some tire marks here and there. Thanks in advance ..read more

I have a 1959 mercury 1 ton dully, with tires that are cracked and wore out. In order to get it on the road it needs new tires, but these rims are pressure locking and I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a bolt pattern rim from another veichal that would match these. I will likely only put 4 wheels on this thing instead of keeping it a dually. Thanks ..read more

Hello. I posted this on ford-trucks .com, but figured I'd post here too for better visibility.
I bought this 1966 F250 the other week, and I'm working on getting it ready for inspection so I can get a rebuilt from salvage title. All the electronics seemed to work when I got it. Turn signals blinked pretty slow compared to my 2008 Toyota, but they all worked. Headlights and brake lights worked.
One thing I had to fix was the horn. I removed the steering wheel to diagnose it, figured out...
