This worked perfectly yesterday but today, all my HomePods can't tell me the time at home, although they can tell me the time in different countries. Simple really. I have an iPad Pro that does all my iPad related tasks but at my desk I have an old iPad with a knackered battery that I have put a paper skin on and use with the Apple Pencil for note taking and basically productivity tasks for work. Ive found it far more useful than I expected it to be. Trouble is Im a hybrid worker and this iPad is stationary due to the battery issue as it remains plugged in. This is annoying me now that I've built a new desk and trying to keep everything minimal. I have a simple KVM switcher, usb for just mouse and keyboard. It switches HDMI as well but I don't use that because my work Macbook uses HDMI whereas I use DisplayPort on my PC. But it's never worked with my slim Anker usb-c 6-in-1 hub that I bought. Hi, Just curious if there were any iPOD users/modders in here? After seeing a random YouTube video last week I got nostalgic and dug my old iPod classic 5.5 out of storage. Surprised to see it was in fantastic condition with almost no scratching on the back. Bought a 30 pin cable and fired it up today, to my surprise all still working, battery seems to be holding charge (Although I' haven't tested it for long). Most of my data is on my attached External SSD's. One for Time Machine and one for all my photo's etc. Now stupidly when I set these up I didn't encrypt them. I have been looking at doing this now but some videos I watch seem to suggest I need to use disk utility which will format my drive. Another video I watched says to use finder, right click on the drive and select encrypt. Nowhere does this say that the drive will be formatted using this method.
