The Town has issued a Town-Wide Parking Ban, effective tonight Saturday, January 6, 2024, beginning at 11p.m. and lasting until tomorrow, Sunday, January 7, 2024 at 12p.m. noontime, or until lifted.
Limited parking is available in the Saugus Middle/High School upper lot, located at 1 Pearce Memorial Drive. The lot designated for emergency overflow parking is known as the “Upper Lot on Left” as you drive down Pearce Memorial Drive.

The Saugus police department would like to congratulate Fred Forni on his promotion from Sergeant to Lieutenant. Lieutenant Forni is a 3rd generation Saugus Police Officer and a 27 year veteran of the Saugus Police Department. He spent his first 17 years as a patrol officer and the last 10 years as a sergeant. Chief Michael Ricciardelli and the Saugus Police Department would like to alert the community of a group of construction scammers who steal from the elderly.
On June 9th, a concerned citizen called the Saugus Police Department about unnecessary work being done at his neighbors home. When detectives began investigating, they discovered a group of workers known as “Irish Travelers” had promised an elderly woman they would perform repairs to her deck.
