The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal single-vehicle traffic crash at Bentley Park this morning, April 26. Initial investigations indicate early this morning a white Kia Carnival was travelling southbound on Bicentennial Road when it left the roadway and rolled into a creek. Emergency services responded and upon arrival, the sole occupant, a 24-year-old Bentley Park man was located deceased. Detectives have charged a 26-year-old Beachmere man following investigations into the death of a man and the serious injury of a woman at Burpengary East today, April 25. The man has been charged with one count of murder, and one count of attempted murder. He was refused police bail and is due to appear in Pine Rivers Magistrates Court tomorrow, April 26. The 71-year-old female victim remains in the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a critical condition. Detectives have launched a homicide investigation following the death of a man and the serious injury of a woman. Initial information indicates around 9.20am, police responded to an address in Bramston Court to conduct a welfare check. Upon arrival, police located the man and the woman, both aged in their seventies and with serious head injuries. The man was declared deceased at the scene. Police are seeking urgent public assistance to locate a 52-year-old man missing from Clayfield since April 17. Erich Weber (pictured) was last seen on Bonney Avenue in Clayfield at approximately midnight and has not been seen or heard from since. A further two people have died following a fatal crash at Bald Hills on April 5. Initial information indicates a Toyota Rav 4 was driving along Linkfield Road around 11.20pm, when it left the road and hit a fence. The male driver and the two female passengers, all in their 70s, were taken to hospital, with serious injuries. The driver, a 78-year-old man died from his injuries on April 20, and the second passenger, a 76-year-old woman died on April 23. Both people died in hospital. The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating following a fatal two-vehicle traffic crash at Heatley yesterday afternoon, April 23.  Initial investigations indicate that around 4:40pm, a dark Holden Commodore and a dirt bike were travelling in opposite directions along Dalrymple Service Road before the two vehicles crashed.  The rider of the dirt bike, a 19-year-old Vincent man, sustained critical injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.  It’s alleged that following the crash, the Holden Commodore fled the scene and was later located abandoned at ..read more
