Hey guys,
So obviously the vast majority of 22LR ammunition will kill a rabbit just fine, however I was interesting in hearing from those with some experience about what round they consider best for killing them with minimal meat and pelt destruction as I’m interested in harvesting both.
I was considering the CCI mini mags but even in just those there’s multiple variants, from 36g hollow points, 40g round nose, 40g segmenting hollow points etc.
Keen to hear peoples experience with different 22lr rounds and how they performed on rabbits they’ve shot.
Cheers fellas.

I'm not a lawyer and probably clutching at straws but part 109 of the constitution could be worth someone smarter than myself looking at. Constitutional lawyer on YouTube explains Aussie constitution. Good luck everyone

Maybe a stupid question but i can’t find an answer. Let’s say I am driving to public forest in the south of NSW from Sydney. My path is going through Canberra. I am just driving through with maybe fueling up on my way. Technically I am going to travel through another state with guns. Is this legal? I have all licenses and hunting permits from NSW with me.

Looking for scope recommendations. I’ve ordered a Bergara B14 Wilderness Ridge in .308 and plan to use it for hunting and some range shooting. Nothing competitive. Keen to hear your thoughts on scopes under $1,000.

A bit of encouragement for those out there who like me have been trying for deer in NSW state Forest and have come up empty handed.
After much perseverance and patience yesterday after years of hoping and praying I finally got my first deer.
In one of the south Coast forest I had gone down for the fallow rut. Stumbled upon this Sambar stag as I was coming quietly out of a patch of pines.
Absolutely stoked, amazing animal and an amazing experience!

My family have a property in Gippsland and there are enough foxes to cause problems to livestock. At what range would you not take a shot? Also do you think they learn if you miss them and will be more cautious?

Hey everyone, Im getting my gun licence in a few weeks because we have a problem with wild dogs getting too close to our livestock, so I'm planning on getting a gun so I can shoot any wild dogs that try to attack our livestock (because you're allowed to do that right?) I'm not much of a gun person (but starting to take an interest) so I was hoping someone would have a suggestion on a good first gun that has a good range and will be a clean kill. (Im in NSW btw)
