I purchased a brand new shotgun (Stoeger M3500) a few days ago. After shooting 5x 3" turkey shells, andt then 1x 3.5" turkey shell, the gun sorta jammed. It was impossible to fully rack the pin, something is blocking it. I took the gun apart as if to clean it, but I couldn't fix the problem. It seems to be internal since something is rattling inside. My question is this: I want to bring it back to the shop (Dante's in Montreal) so they fix, replace, or re-imburse me. My question is pretty simple; would it be "stupid" to carry my shotgun for animal protection while scouting a new hunting spot?
