I’ve hunted youth seasons since they started, taking all different kids. The little girl I was taking dad just called said they had to cancel. She’s been w me 4 times had 4 shots. This was her last youth season. Takes lots to get kids ready. Patterning guns, teaching them how to be safe, move, follow a bird, etc. Than there’s controlling the excited parent! Many years back, I was scouting for a place to hunt deer within the Huron National Forest of Michigan. I had never driven there before but soon encountered a deer crossing yellow sign by the roadway. I stopped and walked back about 100 yards looking for a deer trail. Finding nothing, I reversed my steps and found a heavily used deer trail about 50 yards past the sign.
