its amazing that other people have hissy fits when scales are added onto Superman's outfit in Man of Steel and the no outer speedo tights. yet in Superman Returns and Sam Raimi's Spider-Man, scales were added onto the costumes and people back then made a big stink about that ..read more

I think that pretty much everyone agrees that Morrison's and Pak's runs were the bright spots for Superman during New 52 era. And while Morrison does get the recognition, especially for t-shirts Superman, it does feel like Pak is forgotten a bit despite writing some all-time great Superman stories. So lets change that.
For a reminder this is the list of Superman issues with Pak listed as a writer, or one of the writers:
Action Comics #23.2 Zod; Batman/Superman #3.1 Doomsday; Justice League #23.1 Darkseid
Action Comics #25-50; Annual #3
Batman/Superman #1-9; #11-27; Annuals #1-2; Batman/Super ..read more

DC has an interesting article about this on their website. I still haven't read this but I do want to. I understand it's collected in the "Greatest Detective Stories Ever Told" collection. This would be considered one of the "last" pre-Crisis story coming out only a couple months before MOS.

Superman has a rich history, and the character can lead to absurdity. While we definitely like to see more serious takes on the character there was a whole different direction in years past that in the decades since we would be in on the joke. Would you watch a comedy series based on silver age comics like “Superman’s Girlfriend Lois Lane”? Think of something in the vein of the Adam West Batman series or the animated “Batman the Brave and the Bold”, would something similar for Clark be something to be embraced or avoided?

Even in an advanced civilization like vanished Krypton, criminals were a superstitious lot, at least before COIE. Phantom Zone escapee Ras-Krom hoped paying hommage to this Kryptonian Demon would help him defeat Superman(Superman #164 Oct 1963). I couldn't find any pictures of it online though ..read more

I have to say that I don’t like many of the ideas proposed for Conner to take over, like for example him becoming “Guardian”, because I don’t like him taking over a role who another guy already had or him using a kind of costume which doesn’t fit him, like costumes with Capes, which he never used.
He REALLY needs to stop being Superboy and take over a new role, like Dick did when he stopped being Robin and became Nightwing. If Jon is SuperMan, Conner definitely needs to change his codename and appearance.
It OBVIOUSLY depends if you are going more the YJ Animated Series (TT Comic Series Conner ..read more
