Hi, I recently undertook an Ancestry DNA test and was fascinated by the ethnicity results, although not surprising knowing the history of the country of my birth, Mostly Dutch/Germanic (32%) and Scottish (32%) with English (16%), and a close 4th, Swedish (14%) and a bit of Welsh (2%) making up the European DNA. I have taken many DNA tests and with the expert help from a well known DNA specialist have narrowed my great grandfather to one of 4 brothers, My grandfather - James Polyblank Wood was born illegitimately in the Kingsbridge (Devon) Union workhouse on 15th July 1870.
