Ive had a pair of these for a couple of months. I got them as a refurb/ open box for around £250 and have used for a bit of casual gaming and music. For music I USB cable them to an Android phone running UAPP with some EQ. EQ is pretty minor and due to taste rather than a must have.
I would strongly suggest to anyone planning on buying a DAC, amp and headphones to think about a pair of these instead. Very comfy, well made and great sound ..read more

Koss Porta Pro Headset has a male 3.5 mm TRRS connector. My MOTU M2 has XLR mic input and 6.3 mm headphone output.
The adapter cable I would need would be...
Female 3.5 mm TRRS on one end, that splits into two cables with male 6.5 mm TRS stereo headphone plug on one cable and an XLR on the other cable.
My online shopping search skills are not good enough to find the adapter cable for that.
Alternatively, is there a comfy light-weight on-ear headset I should get instead of the Koss that...

Hi All
I have a Technics SL-1200MK2 & a Synthesis soprano tube amplfier. The soprano has no headphone out. I have a pair of Sennheiser HD599 which I use to listen to Maranntz CR610.
Question 1. Would the iFi Audio Zen CAN Headphone Amplifier be a good choice to allow me to listen to vinyl (Technics - soprano - iFi - headphones)? Any other suggestions? Elsewhere on this forum Jasonovich mentioned the XDUOO TA-66
Question 2. Would replacing my Sennheisers with the Grado SR325x be a good...

Considering how widespread the use of these headphones is, I'm surprised Amir hasn't evaluated them. I'd be curios to see what Amir makes of them and what EQ he recommends using Muse. I use his EQ for the Tanchjim One in-ear USBC headphones I own. I think they sound much more rounded using his EQ.
I've tried EQing the AirpodPros myself, just my ear. Not exactly precise.
Anyone else curious about this? Should I send a pair to him ..read more

Hi folks,
Another recommendation question, this one about my home office setup.
I currently have my work laptop plugged into an Audient iD14 mk2 that switches between my iLoud MTMs and HD 650s on a button press. Very nice feature.
When I use the HD 650s for production / mixing on my personal laptop, I can use Sonarworks for correction, which works great. But my work laptop is locked down in terms of installing software; there's no great software option for EQ'ing music going into my...

Hey folks,
I've been rocking my QC 35s for work/commute/chores since 2016. I've recently returned to the office a few times a week after working from home since 2020, so been using headphones more and am in the market for a new pair of wireless over-ear headphones.
I wouldn't say I'm an audiophile, but I am a music lover (rock, metal, jazz, classical) and an amateur musician/producer. My home setup is HD 650s and a pair of iLoud MTMs.
Anyway, what I've tried so far:
Bathys - blew...

Hi everyone,
my Sony WH1000XM4 are completely useless after the firmware upgrade (2.6.0). The fantastic ANC has been completely ruined, and the overall sound quality decreased despite several EQ attempt. Cherry on top is the frustrating white noise when the NC is on and nothing is playing.
So, I reached out to Sony but I'm still waiting for a response, while Amazon has already offered a full refund. So my question: if i would like to upgrade from the XM4, where should i look?
Possible...

I'm considering upgrading my current amp + dac system:

My thoughts would be:
