Hi All,
I am new to the group and would just like to introduce myself and ask for a little advice.
I am Gary from the UK and have a 2020 Evoque R-Dynamic D180 HSE Automatic.
I have just had a Ghost II immobiliser fitted by an approved TASSA installer.
Since the installation I noticed that the STOP/START function was not working and so contacted the company who informed me the Ghost has no affect on the stop/start system and that there are several reasons, including the battery, as to why it...

I was lucky enough to to have a space saver already in my car when I bought it, I'm so glad because...
Last week I was on my way home from the south of France when I got a warning that the rear left tyre had lost pressure.
It was flat within minutes.
After unloading a boot full of luggage and fitting the space saver I was back on the road within the hour.
I was just outside Grenoble so I thought I'll get the tyre fixed there, it's a big city.
What I hadn't reckoned on was that given it...

I was insured through Swinton last year after More Than pulled the plug on car insurance. Stress levels were high so just went with Swinton as the recommended alternative. Premium last year £918.41 renewal this year £2,874.26 WTF! So this year comparison sites were visited. Yoga were coming up as cheapest but had never heard of them and a Google search came with a lot of recent negative feedback. So have gone with Tesco not the cheapest at £1,274.96 but a recognised name. Might be time to...

I am having some difficulty and confusion with preconditioning and charging.
I thought I would try pre conditioning as the nights are getting cooler and to see what happens and also be ready for when the weather is really cold and frosty. I have tried three times and not been fully successful.
Setting to charge for a departure time is easy and works. When I set preconditioning things are not working for me.
I set departure for 07:30 expecting the car to charge up and the cabin to be...

Hi,
Wife picks up her 2016 2.0d evoque dynamic on Saturday...
Looks a beauty...dealer was trying to persuade her to buy the 2.2d as he said it was more reliable....but I'm generally handy with a spanner.
I have BMW X3 and have great (cheap) software tools for it....is their an equivalent for the RR.
Cheers
