It’s so lovely to get emails, cards, texts & other words of thanks from happy couples.  I love what I do, but more importantly is that others also love what I do. Like everyone, I sometimes doubt myself, so positive feedback is really encouraging & is really appreciated. They come in from all sources so I’d like to collate them into one place but that’s still to do. In the meantime, here are a few verified online reviews that were solicited from an online wedding directory. And thank you all again to my lovely couples down through the years Before I can take your ..read more

Last Friday was my first time seeing coffee served at a wedding & what a great experience it was! Such a wonderful & brilliant idea.  It didn’t just look pretty, it went down so well with guests who didn’t have to wait long for their coffees & donuts!  The idea works just as well on a wet day as Sarah brings a canopy along for just such an event ?? Sarah served me coffee with a smile.  It was thirsty work & coffee never tasted so good!   And congrats to Lisa & David who married in Irishtown, Co. Mayo & had their fab day & reception in the #galwa ..read more

1. Bride – Go no later than second for makeup & hair.  If you’re left until the end & the schedule slips, you may end up feeling stressed & are less likely to enjoy the morning preps & conversations. (This is a biggie & I’ve elaborated on this in another article) 2. There will always be last minute guest cancellations – due to illness & child minding issues, so bear that in mind when estimating meal numbers. 3. Bride – go braless on the wedding morning, or the straps may leave a mark. 4. Allow ample time for preparations.  The more people that are involv ..read more

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing a few weddings in Kinnitty Castle over the years.  Nestled in the foot hills of the Slieve Blooms it’s a dream wedding venue.  Set in picturesque grounds makes it an idyllic & romantic dream wedding location.  And situated in the middle of the country it’s convenient for your guests to get to, wherever they’re travelling from.  A Kinnitty Castle wedding is a win-win! This is Shane & Kate’s wedding story When & where did you both meet? Both of us moved to the sunny sandpit of Dubai in 2008, Kate in June and Shane a bit lat ..read more
