As much as I’d love to eat Buldak ramen, my digestive system will not let me eat that ramen despite every hack out there.
I frequent Asian grocery stores often, but when it comes to the ramen section I’m a stranger in a strange land.
So can someone recommend a ramen that is not spicy and has good noodles?
Thank you in advance! ?

Mods, please remove if off topic.
I'm looking for streaming channels for smart tv that I can just turn on and catch some baking/cooking.
My go to has been America's Test Kitchen/Cooks Country on Samsung TV, but I've seen them all many times.
Looking for "quieter" cooks like Alton Brown, Nigella Lawson, or Ina Garten who don't feel the need to fill every moment with filler convo.
I have no interest in YouTube or TikTok content influencers. I care about food, not your IVF journey.
I've watch Great British Bake Off as well as the American, Australian, and Kiwi versions. This is my limit for comp ..read more

Hello everyone! How can I get concord grape jelly back into my life?
I'm allergic to peanuts/tree nuts/coconuts, and so for a very very long time have not been able to enjoy grape jelly... i.e. no pb&j for me sadly. But I do love the flavor of it.
Tonight I discovered a packet of graham crackers lurking in the cupboard and simply snacked on those with some grape jelly on them. I am so happy now.
But does anyone have any ideas for getting that grape jelly flavor into something else? I am only cooking for 1-2 people but can bake, freeze stuff etc. I'd like to be able to actually get the gra ..read more

Several years ago, The Dollar Tree had this particular type of lemon "cookie" that we bought a few times, but have not been able to find again, ever. I've tried asking in cookie/baking Facebook groups, to no avail. In fact, only one single person knew exactly what I was talking about and they said they had been discontinued. What I find incredibly puzzling is that I can't find hide nor hair of them on the internet. Neither prepackaged, nor a recipe for them. People have pointed me to similar looking cookies, but never just like those. So I'm trying my luck here. These "cookies" are very disti ..read more

Hi all, I’m starting an ice cream business. I have made tons and tons of ice cream, but am admittedly a newbie in the world of commercial food prep.
I’m fortunate enough to live in a state where the Dept. of Ag will forgo the pasteurization requirement for ice cream bases with pasteurized ingredients.
However, they do require the base to be cooked at 150•F for 30 minutes. Given that milk curdles at 180, this seems like a delicate game to play for such a long time.
How would you cook something to meet this requirement without curdling the milk? Thanks!

Hi so I was making pad Thai and instead of winging it like normal and hoping it comes out good, I tried a recipe. It called for 2 tablespoons fish sauce, 3 tablespoons soy sauce, 3 table spoons water, sugar. The fish taste is so much more intense than I expected. I added more soy sauce, garlic powder, rice vinegar and lemon juice cuz that's what I had on hand to my bowl. That said I need to remedy the ton of leftovers I have desperately because my back wasn't good enough. Does anyone have tips on what to add to mask the flavor/scent?

I am a fool.
For context, I enjoy beets. I've only ever eaten them in small amounts (in salads, with cheese, etc) but I've never had a problem with their earthy taste.
Cut to yesterday: my local grocery store had a great sale on beet juice. "Well, I like beets!" I thought. "And they're so healthy! Surely I'll be able to drink 5 entire quarts of it!"
I've never been more wrong.
All it took was 1 sip for my hubris to catch up with me. It was so bad I swear my soul tried to escape my body as punishment for drinking it. The stuff tastes like concentrated dirt, and I don't know how anyone who isn ..read more

They're both rice cooked in broth, usually with stuff added. Is it just a question of final texture (creamy for risotto and not saucy for pilaf) and potentially the presence or absence of cheese?
