Hello fellow golfers! I am the author of Golf Is No Ordinary Game (you can find it on Amazon) Have no fear, my reason for writing is not to sell or promote my book. Instead, I am looking for a golfer to read and critique the first few chapters of the golf novel that I’ve just about finished. I just need an honest evaluation before I go through all the rigors of submitting to an agent or publisher. It’s the story of a boy born into a golfing family and trained from a very young age to be a golf prodigy. Pressured with great expectations from his father, hampered by physical limitations, and li ..read more

Nelly Korda Dominating the LPGA Tour! Nelly Korda was a winner this past weekend, taking home the first-place trophy at the Ford Championship. In doing so, she has accomplished something that has not been done on the LPGA in eight years. The victory was her third win in her last three starts. And the first 20 pages are really nice. Reads a bit too much like X posts, though that’s mostly the formatting. A lot of info so far about conditioning your expectations to align with your goals and experiences. Not getting uber-confident because you did OK in your first qualifying round; not hating yourself and your preparation because you had One Of Those Rounds. So far, there’s a bit of the sentiment that bad things happen to everyone in this game, it’s natural, keep working at it, and while it’s embarrassing now, things will improve if you keep trying. A lot of discussing the mindset—as tr ..read more

Hi All, new to the group and looking for feedback from Course GM’s. I am starting a company that will create online ecommerce stores for pro shops. I see very few golf courses that have this in place. Question for GM and Superintendents - is this something you would find value in? Ie, the ability to generate addt’l course revenue by selling your branded and general products to golfers anytime anywhere? I have my website up and basically ready for customers. If you want to take a look and let me know what you think, it is https://www.proshopcommerce.net/ Thanks for your feedback. 1 post - 1 par ..read more

Does anyone know where to find a list of the FedEx cup point payouts for the '24 season (by place by type of event)? I have the 22-23 season, but this year they upped the payouts for signature events/majors and I can’t track it down anywhere. 1 post - 1 participant Read full topic ..read more

Stack System value to Seniors
Practical Golf Forum

Well, I’ve had several knowledgeable people steer me to the Stack System for increasing swing speed. I’m currently at 80-83 but would love 8-10 more. But just turned 75 and have doubts about how much incremental gain can be achieved for someone that age. I make (usually) great contact so 8 more might get me another 10-12 mph ball speed. Would welcome comment from anyone in similar situation 1 post - 1 participant Read full topic ..read more
