Starting January 30/2023 there will be a Jiu-Jitsu class from 12pm – 1pm (12:00 – 13:00). Also, starting February 4/2023 BJJ will be offered at noon as well!

Monday: Kids BJJ (5-7) 4:30pm – 5pm, Kids BJJ (5pm – 5:50pm)
Striking 101 6pm – 7pm; Jiu-Jitsu 7pm – 8:30pm
Tuesday: Striking 101 6pm – 7pm; Jiu-Jitsu 7pm – 8:30pm
Wednesday: Kids BJJ (5-7) 4:30pm – 5pm, Kids BJJ (5pm – 5:50pm)
Jiu-Jitsu (NoGi) 6pm – 7:15pm; Striking 201 (sparring) 7:15pm – 8:15pm
Thursday: Striking 101 6pm – 7pm; Jiu-Jitsu 7pm – 8:30pm
Friday: Jiu-Jitsu (NoGi) 6pm – 7:15pm; Striking 201 (sparring) 7:15pm – 8:15pm
Saturday: closed

Following covid protocols we will be reopening June 15!
Class sizes will be limited, (more info from the gov expected soon) so make sure you contact us ASAP to get into the class you are interested in. Can’t wait to see people on the mats again, staying healthy, learning new skills and sharpening old ones.

The Academy is planning on restarting the kids jiu-jitsu program early October. Waiting to see how the first couple wks of back to school goes.
Schedule will look like the following:
Monday/Wednesday – 4-7 years old, 5pm – 5:45pm
Tuesday/Thursday – 8-12 years old, 5pm – 5:50pm
Due to covid-19 protocols, class size will be capped at 12 students. Along with the reduced class size, no spectators are allowed during class time, to reduce the number of ppl in the space.

By popular demand, The Joint Physiotherapy has decided to hold a second Fight or Flight Ladies Self Defense class with Bill Fraser from the Academy of Martial Arts.
This is your opportunity to learn, brush up, or advance essential self defense skills in scenerio based practice. No experience is required; come on out for some critical take aways, a set of practical skills under your belt, and to celebrate girl power with fellow local ladies.

It’s Back To School Time!
Summer is almost over and it?s back to school and kids? activities. The kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) program at The Academy will be back in full swing every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00pm-5:50pm starting September 11th.
This year?s enrolment will be in 3 semesters, the first will be starting September 11th. ?Cost for each semester will be $200.
BJJ is great for kids, they get to burn some energy, gain discipline and become more confident!
