On 12/20/23, I took my 2022 E-Pace for its maintenance. I noticed the week of the 27th the drive was a bit jerky where it does not drive smoothly after a complete stopped. It has been happening quite a lot and does not feel safe to drive. On 12/30/23, I was heading home on a straight street when the dash board signal showed Collision Alert! There was no vehicle infront of me. On 1/1/23 around 9:45PM I was at a stop light and when it turned green I stepped on the gas and it jerked for less than a 10 seconds before I can drive. My daughter was with me an ..read more

I own an XK8 2002 4.2 litre, and have owned it now for the last 20 years. I am now needing to obtain a couple of new tyres which are 245/50/17. I have in the past always managed to obtain them but this time it appears impossible. Other than changing out the alloys and tyres to 18" can anybody recommend an alternative 17" that would fit the existing rims and still be legal.
Thanks John ..read more

Hi!
Bought an S type (2001) 4 weeks ago and as I was driving up the motorway the 'restricted performance' light came on alongside the engine light. Phoned the AA and they said it was ok to keep driving. It didn't actually go into limp mode.
Last week it had a low coolant warning but coolant was fine.
It's booked in to go back to the shop and they seemed pretty blase about it also saying it was ok to drive.
The thing is, my mum's in hospital about 40 miles away and I need to visit her.
Would you drive it on the motoway?
Thanks in advance!

Fitted new discs and pads, bled brakes and changed fluid. Took me around 15hrs in total — mainly because it was my first time, I don’t have specialist knowledge, I don’t have specialised equipment, the car has been horribly neglected, and because some retards worked on the design of it ?
Seriously, some of the design features of the S Type are so bad that I’m beginning to think they were designed to be awkward on purpose. But, it’s all done now, thank God.

Finally got round to changing the rear right passenger door lock actuator today. What a chew on lol. Took me about 2-3hrs, I think, and cost me around £40 for the part. Thankfully, all the doors lock beautifully now with the key fob. No more manually locking one of the doors. Very happy it went well, because I was very apprehensive going into it lol. My bum was going a bit, but everything worked out great.
Here’s a list of everything I’ve done so far in the 3 weeks I’ve owned her:
New cabin filter fitted
New air filter fitted
New fuel filter fitted
New Oil filter fitt ..read more
