The vehicle was and still is registered in her name as she is the registered keeper I have a signed written agreement which was also witnessed by 3rd parties stating that the vehicle is owned by me until the vehicle loan is paid in full. She has recently divorced from her husband who left several debts causing her to enter into an IVA. She recently had a visit by a bailiff due to an unpaid debt which she did not realise was not included in the IVA. My wife has recently made up with her estranged son and wants to leave her house to him in her will although allow me to continue to live here if I survive her. We live there together and have been together for 32 years, married for the last 9. She is concerned that if she dies I will meet someone else and they will get her home when I croak, so denying her son anything. I have no children to leave anything to, so it would go to him anyway. Is there a provision by way of a Trust of similar to cover the scenario where I continue to live in the house if she dies first and the house then goes ..read more

Hello everyone I had a bad relationship with my late mother (wont go into detail but she was very abusive to me in my childhood and to a lesser degree into adolescence and beyond). My dad was the sole earner in my family. When he died, control of his assets passed to my mother who decided to seize this newly found authority to the hilt. We had an irreconcilable fallout 12 years ago. She left my siblings their share of the wealth (in a trust where my siblings are trustees). My mother tried to freeze me out completely however my father (in his wisdom) assigned me a reasonable portion of money ..read more

Hi Folks I submitted a complaint to Ombudsman in 2022 after a supplier did not refund returned goods and I had submitted a chargeback as PayPal refused to help. My PayPal account ended up sitting on a negative plus they wanted to charge late fees on top. The ombudsman ruled in my favour, and PayPal also agreed to cancel the total amount plus late charges. It was also suggested they paid a compensatory amount, which was never received. However, today I have receive a letter from Lowell to say they have bought my debt from PayPal! I have reached out to the Ombudsman again to reopen my case but ..read more
