So my NB has an issue with smoking like crazy.. I am thinking its burning oil but not 100% sure. I have done a test to check for emissions in the coolant system but I did not get a positive result for c02 in there. This probably means that the car is just burning crazy amounts of oil. I have noticed that the car needs constant oil refills during regular driving. I have replaced the valve stem seals and the issue kind of got worse. Hi, I have a mk2 turbo that I built and have been using as my daily now for two years. It's the usual td04 setup, and has been great, very reliable indeed. Only issues I've had are a twice cracked g19 downpipe (it has no bracing to be fair), and starter kickback from a minor mistake on the map which was tuned by a respectable local company. Hi, Having issues getting my mx5 to pass the emissions. I'll pop the readings up in secs. Car spec: 2000 W reg 143,000 Mods, K&N air filter (cleaned re oiled), centre pipe with no box, twin tail rear system Charcol cansiter delete Full service, oil, filer, plugs, coil pack, ht leads, fuel filter, new BM cat.
