We are in the beginning stages of planning a Disney Springs Paddlefish wedding. We would be booking a grand villa at AKL through DVC, but would also need additional cash rooms. I believe there is a 10 room minimum for a group rate, but before I call, does anyone have an idea of what kind of discount Disney offers for this ..read more

As part of the 2024 Disney’s Fairy Tale Wedding Collection from Allure Bridals, four new Disney Villains wedding gowns will surely be show-stoppers at any Disney-themed wedding. Disney’s Ursula, Maleficent, the evil Queen, and Jafar inspire each of the four gowns.
The gowns feature iconic details and colorful accents from each of the Disney Villains’ character’s looks. All four styles are available now in BLACK or IVORY, with prices starting at $2,000.

Disney has a commercial saying how magical Disney World is. The first scene shows a man proposing in front of Cinderella’s castle. However, Disney bans all proposals at their parks and threatens removal of park or even lifetime ban if found doing so.
So, my wife is insisting Disney must have removed that banned or it makes no sense in the commercial. That people will think it must be allowed since they advertise it.
Is this true ..read more

Has anyone recently done a small catered party through Disney events? We did one ten years ago and wanted to repeat it.
I am having trouble finding a place to do it the way we did it. Right now they are telling me the minimum is $5,000 plus a service charge plus tax and tips.
I know we did it for less than that last time. We are thinking of 8 -12 people and we wanted a venue around the lake at Epcot to see the fireworks show ..read more

Does anyone know if it would be possible for me to have a small wedding in an on-property resort room? My fiancée and I would be legally already married, and it would only be for close family and friends (around 10 people max)
I am very interested in recources that would deem the legality if this. Would Disney have a mechanism to stop such a thing?
Thank you-- and ANY and ALL tips appreciated ..read more

Any tips on the Just Marry website? I've tried clicking on packages for different locations and it doesn't show pricing. I'm pricing different options and since my husband already wanted to take me on an adults only summer 2025 trip, I thought I would check it out. I just can't get any numbers. I'm also considering just finding hair/makeup, bouquet, photographer, officiant and doing it onsite at Wyndham Bonnet Creek (a favorite of ours) as our stay would be so much cheaper than onsite, I am...

I am about to start planning DFTW at DLR and am so excited!! I may be putting the carriage before the horse (pun intended) here but I have so many wedding questions that I know will come up in the next few months, I wanted to start off with a question I know I already have. We've been to WDW a few times but never Aulani (we are also DVC). What are your experiences with WDW and Aulani honeymoons ..read more
