Relaxing Countryside Wedding in Tuscany Michelle and Chris // Borgo Petrognano // AlFresco Wedding
When it comes to starting dreaming about your destination wedding in Italy, there are several options you might consider. An elegant wedding in our most artistic cities (Florence, Rome, Venice…), or a glamorous wedding on the shores of Lake Como? Maybe a laidback radiant wedding in one of the typical Apulian Masseria, or what about a Dolcevita Italian Style Wedding in the Amalfi Coast? But I guess on top of the most common choices to celebrate a union, there is a Relaxing Countr ..read more

2020 has been a thought season for those like me that primarily serve the destination wedding market. Italian Wedding Inspiration – Vila Tre Grazie A Winter’s Tale in Umbria, Italy – Villa Tre Grazie
Maybe a styled shoot for some Italian Wedding Inspiration is not exactly the main intent of this blog, where mostly you are supposed to find a lot of real weddings. But if many people out of there that hit my blog are often just searching for a wedding photographer, sometimes they’re surfing the web also looking for some fascinating ideas or suggestions. Leonora – the wedding planner that carefully selected all the vendors involved – has been so kind to ask me to be the one to put her thou ..read more

Same-Sex engagement photos in Florence, Italy N+V //an LGBT couple through the alleys of Florence
If there is something good about this pandemic nightmare, I’m finally finding the chance to post many of the sessions that I love the most. Don’t know if I have not really had the time or if it’s just the laziness that comes over me at the end of the season. Anyway, this is one of my 2018 favorites, a photo session – shot in a September Sunrise through the Florentine alleys – with a couple of guys that I can now call friends. Vinh and Nick are from the US and now live in Los Angeles ..read more

Winter Wedding Proposal in Tuscany Rose & Jon – How a pre-wedding shoot suddenly turned into a wedding proposal!
What I didn’t write about Rose and John’s pre-wedding photos, is that their normal pre-wedding shoot was going to turn in a true winter wedding proposal. There was a long email story behind these photos. While I and Roose were talking about the best settings for their photos, on another channel John asked for some help. He wanted to make everything looks casual and happen candidly, without making Rose too suspicious about what’s gonna come next. Altogether we decided to ..read more

Pre Wedding Photos in Florence Rose & Jon – A Romantic Walk in the Florence Downtown
What you can see below happened precisely a couple of years ago. And looking back at these pre-Covid-19 times makes me feel a bit sad and nostalgic. In the present days, Florence is a kind of ghost-city, with just some people moving here and there. A few astonished tourists walk without smiles through the almost desert alleys of Florence. While it was easy to meet a colleague shooting another pre-wedding photoshoot while walking, now it sounds just hard to imagine when we can do it again. Pr ..read more

Venice Wedding Photographer Eloping in Venice has never been so lightful
As a lot of you might know I’m not based in Venice but – out of my beloved Tuscany – Venice is out of any doubt the place where I prefer to photograph a wedding! I’d say this is so far the best work I did in Venice as a wedding photographer. What’s you’re going to see is an elopement I soot at the very beginning of 2018 and that – in these COVID-ous days – I decided to publish again on the blog with slightly different colors and tones. An editing style that fits better with the vision I have developed lately ..read more

Wedding Album Paper Types Detailed Comparison of all Paper Types in my Wedding Photo-Albums
QT Albums (my albums supplier) offers a variety of wedding album paper types, depending on the product you’ll choose to give life to your photographic memories. Working together with them on one of my albums, we agreed that it would be nice to make a clever comparison of all these papers, to try to showcase our clients the differences they can find choosing one product rather than the other. it was a really nice idea also because of the fact I never put side by side the various paper types t ..read more

Intimate Wedding Inspiration in Tuscan Rolling Hills A Wildflower Styled Shoot in Val d’Orcia with an Editorial Vibe
Those Iconic Rolling Hills you’re used to seeing on Instagram and that, years ago, you were used to seeing on postcards. You know what I’m speaking about, huh? In early May of this year – while we were slightly coming out form out Italian CoViD19 lockdown – I reached out to Olivia, asking her if she wanted to do something together in the following free months. She talked to me about her idea about a colorful shooting in Val d’Orcia she had in mind, and it all started fro ..read more
