I made contact with my regional recruiter and they got back to me with initial steps, so I sent my questionnaire in, did the teams briefing as well as sending in another form for the BFM, but nothing back yet for about 2 weeks now (not sure if that is common). I want to join the Air Force ideally as an officer, but if I'm being honest with myself, at no point in any job I've had in the last 12 years have I been a leader or in a leadership position. Is this in addition to section 22 on the form 56 "What are your objectives and reasons for desiring an air force commission"? If so do these need to be distinct from each other? So to start off I am a reserve applicant for the boards and the DD368 is a conditional release. The case I had in MyFSS for my DD368 was closed last night. It's been in waiting since I started the case, waiting for the other half of the form to be completed if I was selected.
