Have a 60' X 400" pond full of Bass and perch, in 2017 Harvey dumped 40 inches of rain and Bessie's Creek came out of its banks, flooder my land and others and when waters receded Spotted Gar all in it. Any of you good enogh with a Bow to take out as many as you can from the bank? Fulshear is the location. PM me if interested ..read more

Hey guys, I'm building a flounder boat and having a hard time finding a mechanical steering cable and PTO ' throttle ' long enough. the boat is 18ft but guessing I would need around 25 ft. anyone know were i can get them or order them??
also need a swivel base mount for the fan motor..

I know it's not bowfishing, but I was wondering what lake has the best chance for me to spearfish a trophy Gator Gar between lake amistad and lake falcon. Is one better than the other for visibility and are the fish better in one or the other? Is there another lake closer that could be better?

Is there such thing of one gig head being any better than others? I'm looking for a gig head that will hold the fish on the gig better, if there is such thing. From past trips flounder would fall off of the gig as we would try to put them in the boat.

I have a 24ft SeaArk and a friend told me i should turn it into a bowfishing boat. I have always bass fished, but he said bowfishing is like heroin compared to rod and reel fishing. Is my boat to big? Most bowfishing boats I have seen are under 20ft... Also what would a good archery deck set up cost me? i'm looking at the honda GX690 22hp engines for my flounder boat. they have several different models. taf, baf, rhtdw, rhtxf2, etc.... does anyone know the differences? I contacted honda themselves and did not get a good answer. the lady had no clue. thanks in advance ..read more
