I am new to this forum. I have an 8 year old. He weighs 39 kg / 86 lbs He is obviously overweight. He has very short legs also and gets tired after running around for 15 minutes. He is fed rice and oats in the mornings and evenings and recieves some dog treats every now and then. I have started taking him on brisk walks for 20 minutes a day. Has anyone done this switch before? Our boy is 1 year old, extremely athletic, 4.5 body score. But we've been feeding him PPP EN since he was around 6 months due to diarrhea from his other food (Lifes Abundance). Just curious on reviews of the PPP Sensitive Skin/Stomach Salmon. The breeder feeds Royal Canin for puppies but it's very expensive for a chicken by-product meal and corn in the first couple ingredients, that's crazy to me and I feel like I could give her better quality food. Hello, I recently adopted Miley (2yr old retired from breeding) and the breeder had her on Diamond Natural. She was doing great on it but my vet is not a fan of Diamond and recommended I switch to PPP. At first, there were no issues but now it seems Miley is not interested as much (maybe eats half of what she used to) and she has started itching. Nothing else in her diet or lifestyle has changed other than the food. Should I switch back to Diamond? Anyone else experience this or similar ..read more

Hey all. So I'm getting a golden soon, but there are a few supplies for grooming and feeding that I still need. I have food/water bowls already, but I still need food. I'm wanting a dry kibble. I also need a shampoo, grooming brushes, and dog toothpaste and a toothbrush. For the shampoo, I'm considering the Burt's Bees brand.
