Hey there, just a quick question for everyone. I can’t seem to find this particular 1022 model online. It’s a 1022 takedown with a magpul stock and fiber sights and pic rail. Comes with a threaded barrel as well. Comes in all black. I wish I had a photo but unfortunately, I was unable to grab it. The dealer is asking $699 for it. it’s pretty much everything I’m looking for in a 1022. I already have a silver takedown, but I prefer the other stock and sights. I retried my eight different ammo samples with my grandfather’s 1974 10/22. Stock trigger group / stock chassis with the barrel band. Retorted main action screw to 15 in-lbs and used fix it stick levels and a laser bore sight to redo my optic setup with proper eye relief. It was a bit windy (not too bad) at the range and I shot from the bench at 50 yards with a Caldwell front rest and a rear bag. All in all I think it turned out pretty well. Swapped the ACE skeleton stock back to an AR and choose a LUTHAR fixed stock for this build. Bipod and M-lok covers had made this easier to grip and point given the silly weight for what started as a standard 10/22. Looking to get my first Ruger 10/22. I’ve been looking at the LVT. Specifically model 31166 and 31167. Everywhere seems to be out of stock locally, and they can’t order more through their distributor. They tell me to order online and then pay the transfer fee. In my area the transfer fee is $65-75 making the total about $415. Should I go ahead and get it? I hear they’re nice right out of the box. Can’t afford too many modifications.
