I have a fully loaded 2011 Lexus ES 350 that has 108,000 miles on it currently. I originally had a loan amount of $12,000. I currently owe $8,500. The car is in great condition with no mechanical issues. The problem is that when I originally got the loan I had poor credit, so my interest rate is 15%. Fast forward 2.5 years, I have a credit score over 700. I considered financing the car, but I was told I am unable to because the car is over 10 years old. I have gotten to know that auto transmissions from japan in the 90s aren't the best. Mostly from first hand experience from owning different Hondas and Toyotas (also Volvos as Toyota made their auto trannys in the 80s and 90s here in the Sweds)
I've always wanted to get my hands on a good lexus car. And when I'm from almost all of the lexuses are autos. So I wonder how good they really are in the reliability issue. I mostly focus on the mid 90s ES models and around the millennium shift models of both GS and IS.

Hi, Considering purchasing an ES hybrid. The closet Lexus dealer in over 4 hours away. Can someone please tell me the trunk measurements? I want LWH not just cubic feet. I am a foster mom and need a double stroller to fix on occasion. Thanks!!
