Hi Folks,
I'm doing some electronics repair training in a few months and the trainer has said they are content for me to record the various bench-based work so I have it for my future reference.
I have a GH5 along with a Metabones Ultra 0.71 MFT to EF speed booster. I only have a canon 50mm 1.8STM prime lens currently (equivalent crop factor & metabones = 71mm). The lens has to sit around 70cm above the bench to include the details I need (any closer and it's too cropped), which feels a bit extreme to me (happy to be told this is normal if it is!)
I'm quite new to all of this so would app ..read more

I’m shooting a short using the Lumix GH5s and the Sirui 35mm anamorphic lens. Is it possible to change ISO settings when shooting with this lens? Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Hi!
I’m new to the GH5/ commercial videography in general and super confused about shooting slo-mo for client work. I’ve looked around info about the VFR etc and can’t seem to find an answer to this (probably elementary!) question.
Is there a way to shoot files so that I can then decide later if I want them to be slow motion or not? I want to shoot in 24fps for client work, but want the option of slowing down certain clips later. I don’t want to have to decide between slow motion vs normal speed for each clip during the shoot. I could shoot everything in 60fps but then surely I’d be messing t ..read more

I enjoy using native LUMIX glass, but I’ve been looking at some speed boosters. Specifically the viltrox EF speedbooster, curious if there Is a considerable loss in image quality in anyone’s experience. One of the primary reasons I’d like to use this particular model of viltrox speed booster is it communicates with the camera, retaining atleast some use of autofocus. Is it worth it? Is the autofocus useable? Will the EF lens focal length be communicated automatically to the camera through these contacts for IBIS? If not, would purchasing the cheaper Nikon F Viltrox speedbooster be worth it?

Hey guys I would love to hear your comments/opinion about my very first musical dancing video, it's about a challenge dancing trend in Instagram, and I did it because a friend asked for it. I used my GH5 with cine like D profile and my new 12-35 Panasonic Lumix Mark II, at f2.8 ISO 800 and I was playing with the zoom while recording. We tried to do it with the last ray of sunshine but at the end the sun goes down and I did it with a led light over the camera. The on post I just did a little of color grading and used a LUT using Capcut for PC.
