My 2017 Cadenza with 85,000 miles started overheating about 2 months ago. I’ve replaced 2 thermostats, a water pump, radiator fan, engine coolant sensor & coolant reservoir. Tomorrow, she gets new coolant/radiator hoses & a new radiator. If this doesn’t work, I’m throwing it in the trash!! Any ideas??!! I’m on my last nerve ..read more

I had to say goodbye to the beloved Cadenza today. Had a good 9 year run, started to run into some overheating issues even after replacing the thermostat, which led me to believe a possible head gasket issue. Still in the Kia/Hyundai family. Purchased a 2019 Genesis G90, drives like a dream ..read more

Hood won't pop up

Hi all, I'm having an issue with my hood. When I pull the handle, the hood doesn't pop up. The lever works, but the hood won't "pop". So, someone has to get their fingers under the hood and pull up while another pulls on the lever in the cab. Once up, the second release works fine and then the hood can be lifted. The hood also stays up on its own, so the shocks still have strength. How can I fix this? Thanks ..read more

I have a 2017 Kia Cadenza that's having electrical issues. I had a new battery installed by AAA and now when I turn my car off and open my car door, the radio will stay on, the clock will go crazy and on the flat screen will show as if my AC is being turned off, in which I never had the AC on.. I will also receive a warning that says "battery discharge running, please use the system with engine running". Can anyone share with me what is going on with my car after I had a new battery... I have some scratches I want to fix myself, I found 2 ways so far to do it, has anyone ever done these successfully themselves?

There’s one way where you can get the same paint as your car and learn how to sand it down, put stuff over it(so obviously it would look bad for a moment)then paint over it. I’ve heard stories of the paint not being the exact color or something but also have seen good reviews and there’s a video of a guy that does it really well, I don’t know how hard it would be tho or if I’d put my car at risk if I don’t pant it right or something. The other way is use a buffer with a special kind of wax... I have some scratches I want to fix myself, I found 2 ways so far to do it, has anyone ever done thes ..read more
