The phrase order is important. If our love for others is not founded upon truth, we will simply be the “blind leading the blind” ( A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another ). If our love for truth is not expressed out of love for others, we will be ineffective and misrepresent God’s grace. As Warren Wiersbe has put it: “Truth without love is brutality, and love without truth is hypocrisy.” ( But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into ..read more

Unity in the midst of disagreement can only be achieved through humility. We may not be able to prevent Twitter wars waged by other people elsewhere, but we can do our part to protect Graceway and our own circles of influence by humbly "maintaining the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace." ( calls us to "walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called." We're having to walk a little differently these days, but we've been called to do so in a manner worthy of our calling in Christ Jesus. We're called to walk "with all humility and gentleness, with patien ..read more

Once again, we are facing some ministry disruptions due to capacity restrictions, but we are thankful for God's faithfulness to Graceway even during a difficult year. He is not done with His church and we look forward to seeing God work in and through us in 2022. meeting. Using solid video-based teaching, the group met each week until December, growing in their grief journey and finding healing in Christ and His Word. On September 26th, our Sunday School program returned to the newly renovated classrooms after 18 months of online classes. It was a joy to see all of our students return to their ..read more

Morning Devotion: Read Acts 2 Acts 2:22  Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know: 23  Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain: Peter, being filled with the Holy Ghost and speaking with tongues that others would understand in their own language, preached the word of God. I am convinced that a person who sees no sin in their life, will never com ..read more

Morning Devotion: Read Acts 2 Acts 2:14  But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: 15  For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. 16  But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; 17  And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old me ..read more

Morning Devotion: Acts 2 Acts 2:5  ¶And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. 6  Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language. 7  And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans? Verse 11…we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God. Acts 2:12  And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this? 13  Others mock ..read more

Morning Devotion: Read Acts 2 Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2  And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3  And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4  And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. That sound of a mighty rushing wind that came from God was indicative of God’s breath of life. In the Strongs ..read more
