In the early days of last September, Natalie and Julius, a young couple from Holland, celebrated their wedding in an Italian countryside villa near Verona. They loved this venue for the very romantic atmosphere and amazing view over the hills.
Natalie wanted a modern, natural look for her wedding floral decorations, to highlight the style of the Italian villa.
For the garden symbolic ceremony, I created two natural and ethereal floral arrangements, simple and graceful bud vases with flowers, and chairs decorated with fluttering white ribbons.
After the aperitif, in the shade of centu ..read more

Last September, in a country venue surrounded by olives and vineyards on Lake Garda near Verona, I created the florals for a lovely Italian couple living in London.
Since the location had that countryside vibe, Greta chose a timeless green and white palette and a natural romantic style.
The symbolic ceremony was held in the olive garden overlooking the picturesque vineyards and hills.White was the perfect colour for all the decorations, against the backdrop of the silver green olive trees. Natural bouquets fo green and white were tied to the chairs with fluttering ribbons, and basket ..read more

I’ll start right away with the nice words from Elisa, just after her wedding: ’Hi Tania, I want to thank you for everything, the tables, the bridal bouquet, the buttonholes the floral decorations for the ceremony. Thank you, everything was perfect and you made our day even more beautiful’.
When I first met Elisa, she told me she wanted a joyful, relaxed vibe for her big day. They chose a romantic countryside villa near Verona, with a dreamlike wood. The colours that expressed her vision best were: bright orange, sunny yellow, shades of pink, combined with a touch of delicate peach and ..read more

Being January, I always like to start the year with Pantone’s chosen colour. ‘Peach Fuzz’ is this year’s choice, a velvety gentle peach tone.
Form Leatrice Eisman, executive director of Pantone: ‘PANTONE 13-1023 Peach Fuzz captures our desire to nurture ourselves and others. It's a velvety gentle peach tone whose all-embracing spirit enriches mind, body, and soul. In seeking a hue that echoes our innate yearning for closeness and connection, we chose a color radiant with warmth and modern elegance. A shade that resonates with compassion, offers a tactile embrace, and effortlessly bridg ..read more

As soon as I found out that there was a Flower market in New York, I immediately decided to put it on my bucket list!
The flower market is on West 28th street in Chelsea. It was moved there in 1890 and in spite of the gentrification, it’s still in the same place. Of course now it’s smaller than last century, but it’s still a hidden treasure, even for many Newyorkers. It’s amazing that along one street you can find such an incredible variety of flower and plant shops ..read more

In October I was lucky enough to visit iconic New York and its incredible vibe amazed me in a thousand ways!
What struck me the most was the way building sites sat amongst towering steel and glass skyscrapers. New York is an ever-evolving city where ultramodern buildings stand proudly next to historical ones.
Wherever I glanced I was mesmerized by numerous shades of grey, hues of brown and gleaming glass.
I stayed at the Civilian Hotel which was the perfect choice to enjoy Manhattan. It’s ‘More than a design-forward hotel, CIVILIAN is a microcosm of the Theatre District, abuzz with cre ..read more

Last May Georgina and Freddie, a lively English couple, decided to celebrate their wedding in Verona. They spent a lovely morning with relatives and friends wandering around and discovering the part of Verona.
The religious ceremony took place in the magnificent Duomo. All the guests, together with the bride and groom, walked down the narrow cobbled streets of the impressive historical centre.
After the touching ceremony, the celebrations continued in a charming countryside villa surrounded by a lavender scented garden where they had dinner and danced till sunrise.
After the touching ..read more

At the beginning of April the well known Verona wine fair was held. I was asked to create a floral backdrop for three soirees in a magnificent Renaissant villa nestled in the Valpolicella vineyards.
Together with the owner we decided to have a lively colourful palette mixing flowers, fruit and vegetables.
There were going to be two main locations for the event. The aperitif was going to be held near the fountain in the small stone courtyard, while dinner would be served in various halls in the villa.
Being springtime I had an incredible variety of flowers to choose from, such as ranun ..read more
