It’s almost here…the 2024 Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games!! It’s been 100 years since France last hosted the Olympic Games. This summer, the events will take place from July 26 to September 8 and the city is expecting 15.3 million spectators! If you have a photo session planned with me before, during, or after the Paris Olympics, my approach to the vast amount of uncertainties is: Let’s be Flexible! Paris is most known for the ever-stunning La Tour Eiffel, and so of course its a popular location for photo sessions. Here are some options and advice to consider when choosing your Eiffel Tower location. Weather, time of day and time of year can all impact how the Eiffel Tower looks, including the different lenses I use throughout each photo session. More often than not, I’m able to click and get along great with clients, right from the start. And sometimes I walk away from a photo session wishing those clients lived in Paris and could be my good friends…just as how it happened with the Shaia Family, from the US. We had great conversation and shared laughs throughout our one-hour, two-location photo shoot. The parents had a lot in common with my upbringing and the kids I felt would have really gotten along well with my daughter too.
