Hello new member here. After covid started I started a challenge where i try to learn a new skill or hobby every year. I either drop it after a year or keep doing, it if i enjoy it ,but i give it a year of trying. For next year i wanted to learn drawing. I know the best paper is mostly personal preference, but I don't have much experience with this since I've mostly just been using sketchbooks I've been given as gifts. I've been given so many that I haven't had to buy one since I started drawing and still have a few unused ones. Hello to whoever is reading this post. I am a retired senior citizen and this is the first time I joined a forum. I consider myself a hobbist and I have never received any formal art trainiing. As a youngster I enjoyed drawing with regular HB graphite pencil and crayons. Greetings from Wisconsin. I am Ray. 68 a buttugly ol biker given a second chance at life. I am retired now, and revisiting some of the life taken from me. Open heart surgery messed up my right arm/neck/hand and arthritis has set in my right index finger. I once loved to draw, but find it painful now. No amount of pain killers will take it away.
