So i've been skating on and off for some years now, but never really got that good. I can ollie pretty good, pop shove, shove, 180 and some small tricks. My problem is, I start skating for some months (like 2-3 months), then things get stagnant, and I sort of slowly stop skating without really noticing. Then, all of the sudden, I get the urge to become good at skating, as I find it to be pretty cool and fun. How do I stop taking brakes from skating, and just focus?
Maybe the weather could help, as it's been getting better as of late..

It’s my third day skating and I can still barely push and then out both feet sideways on board, any pointers? I’m thinking I possibly can’t skate because of my physical (6’2, 230) but I’m not sure if that’s what the issue is

Sadly I have seriously hurt my wrist/forearm for the second time now. Both times were coming down from a bowl/ramp and falling forward. This time felt kind of avoidable or else I would have face planted. Any advice? Worst part of it is I was at the store yesterday about to buy wrist guards but they were out of stock.
