People still paying rent to councils in the oldest suburbs across the country will be getting title deeds under the Presidential Title Deeds and Settlement Regularisation Programme while work on regularising informal settlements and issuing home owners with title deeds continues. The Mighty Warriors, Zimbabwe’s national women’s football team, have advanced to the semi-finals of the COSAFA Women’s Championships after drawing 1-1 with Botswana. After a 2-0 victory over Namibia in their previous match, Zimbabwe needed at least a draw against Botswana in their final group match for them to advance to the semi-finals of the COSAFA Women’s Championships. On Saturday, criminals forced a police officer to give up his identification documents and cash in a stolen motorcycle. A Harare man identified as Prince Rukudzo was arrested last week in a botched residential stand deal. It is alleged that Rukudzo attempted to sell a piece of land in Eastlea but the buyer noted gross anomalies in the paperwork.
