It seems recently, Microsoft has started requiring an internet connection during a Windows 11 install. If you can't get a network adapter to work, then you cannot install. I know there is a work-around but I was wondering if anyone had used the USB drive included with the Z790 Hero board to include those drivers so as to have Wi-Fi or Ethernet drivers available for the install? I might think you could add the drivers by pointing to the folder on the USB drive but I have not actually done that, so does anyone know the best way to get those drivers available so they could be used during the ini ..read more

When I use steam to download the game, the network card loses traffic, then disable and re-enable the network card, everything is restored, I have two asus z790 extreme motherboards, both have the same problem, driver version 3.1.7. Hello! First time poster here. Having a bit of a problem figuring out if the 700-sersies motherboard supports the new ddr5 from corsair, namely with 24, 48gb modules. The news dropped everywhere the other week that ASUS now supports this, listing all BIOS version supporting. But, when I'm checking out the QVL none of the ddr5 from corsair is listed? So, whats this all about? Do the boards support theese now, but they just forgott updating the QVLs, or are the correct BIOS not yet released, even if ASUS seem to say they are? I am running a Z790-A GAMING WIFI D4 with BIOS 0812, a 13900K, and Kingston 128GB 3600MT/s DRAM KF436C18RBAK4/128 from the QVL list. Since Raptor Lake doesn't officially support >3200MT/s DRAM, please note that I select the XMP1 profile but manually set the RAM speed to 3200MT/s in all circumstances. My microphone is extremely low and nobody can hear me. Headset: Sennheiser GAME ZERO (3.5mm cable) Mobo: Z790 Hero OS: Windows 10 Pro This issue occurs whether I plug the microphone directly into the motherboard or if I plug it into the case front panel. I've tested the headset on another PC and don't have any issues. On the other PC I don't need to raise the levels nor enable boost for others to hear me. Hi all I recently bought 2 extra 4TB NVMe drives & thought I'd use the included Hyper card with my Z690 Maximus Hero build. I've already got 2 1TB Nvme drives on the MB 1 & 3 slots. At first I boot & only see one drive. I then did some research & find that I need to select dual m.2 on the on board devices in bios. Once I did this, my pc boots & after about 10secs, it's stops then reboots. I don't think anything of it, as sometimes the bios needs to do its thing to recognise new changes.
