The Harare City Council has announced plans to publicly name and shame government departments, companies, and individuals who owe the municipality nearly ZiG1 billion.
In recent weeks, the City of Harare has issued letters of demand followed by court summons to debtors to recover outstanding bills.

The Lady Chevrons dream of playing the 2024 Women’s World Cup which is scheduled for Bangladesh in September was shuttered on Wednesday with a 14-run defeat to the Netherlands at the ongoing World Cup Qualifier in the United Arab Emirates.

Zimbabwe needs to import about 1.1 million tons of grain to cater for food-insecure people until March next year, following an El Nino-induced drought that also affected other countries in southern Africa, a government minister said Tuesday.

PARIRENYATWA Hospital is plagued by increasing cases of bogus medical practitioners at the institution, with 11 offenders arrested in four months.
The hospital was recently put under the spotlight after a fake doctor, Blessing Nyanzira, was arrested by Parirenyatwa’s security.
The hospital has become the hub of bogus doctors who have been fleecing unsuspecting patients.
