I currently have a 2003 Arnage R (now with the T engine after a full engine replacement) and the repair works are just being finished. I love it, but I’m looking for something as more of a daily driver soon. I figured if I can get circa €30k for the Arnage I’d like to get a Flying Spur, and currently contemplating a 2008/9 Speed model. Is this a sensible decision (as sensible as a Bentley decision could be!), and what should I look for or avoid? I’m based in the EU so can buy and sell from anywhere in EU.

I have saved around £60k to purchase a vehicle and was thinking of a bentayga but not sure if should be going a specific year out of the 2016-2018 models
Can anyone offer any advice for what to avoid I.e. buying after a certain service or checking for certain things after a specific mileage or a certain model to avoid.
Also while I appreciate the service costs are higher, is there common faults that occur in the older models that I should look out for?
Many thanks

I pulled this out of a mansion in the Hollywood hills. They barely drove it and it was sitting on a Bentley charger a lot. They were trying to get 39k for it but after a month of trying to sell it they dropped it to 25k and I got them down to 22k.
I dropped it off at a recommended mechanic a couple days ago. Praying nothing too serious needs to be done.
I ran it for codes and it did bring up the turbo charger. So I’m hoping it’s a sensor. Car seems to ride smooth and have no issues.

Looking at two cars: 1999 Continental R Mulliner wide body , 30K miles, -$90K
Or
2008 Arnage T, 14.6K miles, -$60K
Help me decide? It would be a daily driver for my wife. Obviously one is two door, the other 4, and the Arnage I assume has more recent electronics though both are of course well out of date.
Any thoughts on the comparison, the driving experience, the relative maintenance costs, value etc are all greatly appreciated!

With the general understanding that this is most certainly not a 250,000 mile civic or Camry, does anyone have any thoughts on how the Arnage and early flying spurs stack up in terms of reliability?
My usual approach is to get the newest model you can afford but I figured it was worth asking, considering some Bentleys have a reputation for being extremely unreliable.
Again, yes I know this is an old Bentley lol.

Thank you in advance. I’d love to get a GT convertible. However, I am 6’8” tall, and my right knee/leg does not fit comfortably into the space between the steering wheel and the dash cutout space.
Does any model year or model provide more driver legroom than the ‘24 model? Thank you.
