So...Trump has come out and said that the Arizona bill "went too far". The Arizona bill is, as far as I have seen, in line with the Catholic Church's position. Therefore, no matter who wins in November...we will not have someone in the Oval Office who will be fighting for the unborn. Scott statistics: Posted by SDS — 13 minutes ago ..read more

In comparison to the Saints, I'm humbled because I fall so short and fail so miserably.  My heart does desire, though, to be as obedient as the Saints were all for love of the Lord.   PERFECTION "O Jesus, help us, we beseech Thee." Ever your Helper through dark to Light, through weakness to Power, through sin to Salvation, through danger to Security, through poverty to Plenty, through indifference to Love, through resentment to Perfect Forgiveness. Never be satisfied with a comparison with those around you. Ever let My words ring out. “Be ye therefore perfect even as your F ..read more

Not only in the Blessed Sacrament is Jesus present in the world: Millions of Muslims converting to Christianity after having visions and dreams of Jesus The very same Person, Jesus Christ Almighty, who walked this earth among us and then after His Resurrection revealed Himself to Saul of Tarsus in visions/dreams and to Saints throughout Christianity,  is revealing Himself in the same way today to whomsoever He wills. Those who today call themselves Catholic/Christian but detest Pope Francis are no different than the religious zealots who handed Christ over to be hung on a cross 2000+ years ago. Pope Francis: Let Jesus completely transform your life St Paul's conversion teaches us that it is never too late to let Jesus completely change and transform your life, Pope Francis said during his Wednesday General Audience with pilgrims in St Peter's Square. Continuing his series of catecheses on apostolic zeal, the Pope said he would be focusing on different individuals, who at different times and in different ..read more

I have a friend I have known since high-school. For those who don't know me, that's about 40 years ago now. My friend, Chuck, had his father pass away about 4 months ago. He had been building a house with his dad and they were very close. About 3 weeks before his dad died I was talking to him about his son and the subject of Jesus came up. He was a believer and he wanted his son to know Jesus but he laughed that he never wanted to hear about it. Chuck is a little rough around the edges. LOL On Sunday I went and visited him and he is saying he doesn't want to get up in the morning and doesn't ..read more

Well, not if you believe it’s murder. That’s why I don’t understand the 15-week thing or the — Trump’s plan is, “Let’s leave it to the states.” You mean, so killing babies is okay in some states? I can respect the absolutist position, I really can. I scold the left on, when they say, “Oh, you know what, [pro-lifers] just hate women, people who aren’t pro-life — pro-choice, they just –” [Pro-lifers] don’t hate women. They just made that up. They think it’s murder. Rightly said. So far he sounds like a defender of conservative opposition to abortion, and there was no cheering this ti ..read more

When you read the Passion narratives in the synoptic Gospels, you’ll notice that each of them reports unusual events surrounding the crucifixion — midday darkness (Matt. 27:45; Mk. 15:33; Lk. 23:44) and an earthquake (Matt. 27:51).  Earthquakes and darkness aren’t necessarily supernatural events. The timing and location of them, though, with respect to Jesus’ death is highly coincidental if these are just random events.  Lunar Eclipse April 3, 33 AD https://www.washingtonpost.com/archive/ ... ea2ef225e/ "Colin J.
