I am guessing this thing is throwaway like most small appliances but I have this DH that is throwing an "EC" code. This code is when the machine is operating outside of 41 or 89 degrees. Our problem just started to occur today. The compressor can be heard/felt running even when the power button is turned off. If I push the reset button on the power cable the compressor will shut off but then start again. The only way to permanently shut it off it to disconnect the power cable from the wall outlet. Hi, my 12K BTUs Frigidaire window AC can not be shut off by pressing on/off button (only by unplugging from the wall). When I plug it back in I see front panel lights go on and then nothing. I can't turn it back on. I kept it off for one and a half days, plugged it back in was able to turn it on but now it is back to the original problem (can only be shut off by unplugging it from the wall. I have two units - both are friedrich air conditioner model ccf05a10a. Neither of them are cooling. The filters look clean. I resetted the plugs on both. I also adjusted the thermostat from 68 to 78. I can’t get either unit to cool. Does anyone have a suggestion? Thanks ..read more

Greetings! My window ac unit is spitting water through the vents and into the room. The filter is clean. I have front of the unit off and I do not see water below the coils but I do see water below the fan that's enclosed in Styrofoam (stuck my phone down there to see). I purchased a Frigidaire Cool Connect 12000BTU Portable Unit and can't connect to Wi-Fi. I have tried everything. I spoke to Frigidaire on the phone so many times.
