I've been DE shaving for 10 years and have tried different techniques. I thought my current routine worked really well though I still got the occasional nick. I just got back from the Maggard meetup and its time to clean out the samples that I am not usixng to make way for the newly acquired items from the trip. Good morning fellow wet shavers, I started using a DE a good number of years ago (maybe 10+). Anyway, I started cheap using one From Amazon (possibly a Baili), and my very first shave I was impressed with the results (I took it extremely slow). This question is probably too specific for general advice but I have this tricky spot under the chin to the right that I cannot get BBS on no matter how many passes. Is there any technique which I can use to fix this problem? It's really bugging me. I've heard of mapping but I am pretty sure I can feel which direction the grain flows in that spot ..read more
