An object made with skill, craftsmanship and deep intent forever reflects a moment in history. This is what mixed media artist Tamlin Blake showcases in her latest exhibition, After the Fire, at the Sisonke Gallery at The Cape Heritage Hotel, from 7 March 2024 to 28 April 2024. A devastating fire decimated a large portion of a private home in the winelands in 2020 and extensively damaged a well-loved art collection housed there.
