A creative, dress-up, fashion inspired photoshoot for everyday people. Why should models have all the fun? For this style of photoshoot I start by collaborating with my client on a concept. We gather images, colours, textures, anything inspiring for the photoshoot. An appropriate location is sourced as well as props, such as flowers, flower crowns, make-up and wardrobe. Life is just full of moments, from one to the next, fleeting. What I see in that moment might be different to what someone else views. I use my camera which is usually a Nikon to manipulate the view captured. Sometimes I'm freezing the view captured in a moment and at other times I'm extending the viewed moments and blending them together. Using a slow shutter and an ND filter to allow for a slower shutter, depending on the time of day. The filter may not be needed at sunset. I also will pan the camera sharply for effect at times.
