The artist duo Mots (Jagoda Cierniak, Poland, and Diogo Ruas, Portugal) explored the emotional power and aesthetic expression of objects during their stay in Berlin as part of the Fresh A.I.R. #4 residency program. One result of their artistic research is the ONE WALL at Spandauer Obstallee 22 that was painted in March, 2021. “We live in a world full of objects. Some of these things have deeper meaning for us because they carry stories, beliefs and memories” consider Mots. Therefore, as part of their “Objectum” project, they met 25 people who live in Berlin and asked them to tell their story a ..read more

The workshop started with an interactive part as well as an introduction to stencils and how to use them for drawing, cutting, coloring and spraying. Some kids were already familiar with street art or different spraying techniques. For others, it was initially difficult to get involved with the tasks. Eventually, they all succeeded in creating a simple but unique design, cutting it out and spraying it on their personal t-shirts and bag ..read more

ONE WALL by Kera

Berlin street artist Christian Hinz aka “Kera” realized a new ONE WALL for Gewobag in October 2023. At Holtheimer Weg 25/27 in Berlin-Lichterfelde, a six- and seven-story building has been extensively renovated over the past three years. Visually, the yellow parapet cladding stands out, to which Kera responds with both its color palette and its geometrically abstract formal language. For two walls of the exterior stairwells, he designed dynamically jagged forms that span a tota ..read more
