Hello, I have a business whereby I'd love if I had a security camera that can zoom in to read labels or numbers on boxes from the cloud.  I'm not familiar enough with security cameras to know how common/possible this is, but I'm aware of cameras that can zoom when viewing in real time, but what about a camera that was recording from a distance and then you are watching the playback from the cloud -- is the zoom function still possible?  Any recommendations for a camera whereby I can record and then zoom in enough from about 20ft distance to read labels on boxes?  Sorry if this i ..read more

My question is I have connected it to the extender but how do I get it to My PC and Blue Iris from there? Also I know people on here will say do not use an extender. Not sure if this is the right place - feel free to move topic if it isn't Had a CCTV system installed by a local company approx 18 months ago. NVR is SF-NVR6108-4KE-8P with three cameras NVR is accessed via desktop PC running Win10 64bit home network using IE8 (don't ask !) Been having a few problems with capture and downloading playback recently and contacted the company for help. Using Aeroadmin they attempted to resolve the problem on the existing software ( no proprietary name as far as I can see) but were unsuccessful. They then tried to install Safire Connect but it failed because of a m ..read more

Hello everybody,   I have bought a cheap KKmoon IP camera with PTZ, model 805. I have two main problems: 1) the camera continuously reposition the PTZ in the position fully anticlockwise and fully down 2) the embedded web server does not show any image: the browser (I have tested IE and Chrome) says that the plug-in is unsupported   The KKmoon site (www.kkmoon.com) is completly empty.   Anyone knows how to contact them or where their firmware and plug-ins can be downloaded?   Thanks,   giorgio ..read more

Hi there, My setup uses 7 AHD cameras connected with Cat5e ethernet wires through Baluns to an 8-port DVR. I recently noticed that one of the outdoor camera's menus was being accessed without my knowledge. My DVR is connected to my internet provider router through an ethernet cable. I have no idea how anyone could access the camera menu this way. I use an app called "SuperLivePlus" on my iOS/Android phones to access the DVR. Does anyone have an idea how this is possible? I started a project with a friend to install a few security cameras at the subdivision entry/exit point. We wanted to have a high resolution camera so we purchased a Reolink 811A 4K camera. We noticed that during the day getting the plates is a hit or miss depending on the speed of the cars. At night things get worse as the camera gets overwhelmed by the tailgate lights. Even with the IR of the camera off and in B&W mode, and using a separate IR illuminator the plates are not visible.  I know there are specialized LPR ip cams but we thought that a 4K camera would work better than a 2 ..read more
