Dr Susheela Balasundaram is the Head of the Public Health Unit at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Malaysia, more widely known as UNHCR. She started working with refugees 20 years ago as a volunteer providing mobile primary care services for them.
