hi everyone! I am a new bunny owner and just want a little advice. I currently have my boy Theo who is around 8 months, I give him fresh greens for breakfast and dinner with about 1/4 cup of pellets. he also gets unlimited hay. is this a good diet? he goes in to get neutered next week and i’m quite nervous about it so any advice on that would help too :)) I pick up my other bun Winnie next week too, she’s about 4 months so should her diet be the same or different? thank you <3 submitted by /u/qatsvki [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I found several questions and posts online on washing hands after touching your pet, but do you wash your hands every time before touching them? Do you fear your sweat, grime, etc. can harm them especially if they groom themselves too? submitted by /u/Rit_22 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

My hamster recently passed away at the age of 3 and when I told my coworker that I was thinking about getting a bunny she said I could have hers. I wouldn’t really consider it rescuing because the bunny is well cared for right now. The problem is that her cats are not nice to the bunny so she has to stay in the garage and her kids have lost interest in the bunny. This is a picture of the enclosure I have put together. It is litter trained and does like to be held but I ha ..read more

Bunny Adoption Interview Tips?

Bunny Adoption Interviews I have my first two “interviews” for adopting 1-2 bunnies (will eventually be two, just may get a bonded pair or may get one and do speed-dating/ bonding services with the organization later) today. So far over e-mail, people have seemed impressed with my knowledge base, I think they get a lot of potential adopters who literally know nothing about bunnies. I have been researching how to care for bunnies for like literally 8 year priors to pursuing adoption. But any questions that totally threw you for a loop? Anything you wished you’d thought about or looked into ahe ..read more
