Hello everyone. I’m interested in finding any information on a Longines piece that I have. It has been in my family since the 1970’s. I believe it to be a dealer display but have never been able to find another one like it. It is a complete oversized watch with a mechanical movement that dates to 1947 with leather straps. From tip of strap to the buckle it is less than 2’. The case width is about 5”. Brass case with a bronze face and gold hands and numbers. Any information is greatly...

Trying to move the time and date by the recommended method does nothing. Any thoughts before I head off to the dealer? Thank you ..read more

Just found this page today, saw this forum and remembered this watch. I got it in 1990 from my father but stopped wearing as the strap fell apart. I tried to get it repaired but was told I couldn't. I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas? I'd get it done professionally but the couple guys I talked to said it was shot. Hope not ..read more
