Hello everyone. I’m interested in finding any information on a Longines piece that I have. It has been in my family since the 1970’s. I believe it to be a dealer display but have never been able to find another one like it. It is a complete oversized watch with a mechanical movement that dates to 1947 with leather straps. From tip of strap to the buckle it is less than 2’. The case width is about 5”. Brass case with a bronze face and gold hands and numbers. Any information is greatly... Happy New Year to all. Being in Australia it is now New Years Day. When I woke this morning my Longines Conquest had stopped at midnight exactly. I bought it 7 months ago (on board a cruise ship with warranty card). This seems inexplicable to me but I am technologically challenged! Trying to move the time and date by the recommended method does nothing. Any thoughts before I head off to the dealer? Thank you ..read more

Just found this page today, saw this forum and remembered this watch. I got it in 1990 from my father but stopped wearing as the strap fell apart. I tried to get it repaired but was told I couldn't. I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas? I'd get it done professionally but the couple guys I talked to said it was shot. Hope not ..read more

Hello - I am a newbie to this site. Can you please advise me - I am thinking of buying this model with the Arabic dial which I prefer but is the 'sunray blue' dial a nice VIVID blue? I ask because my Rolex dial was blue but too dull for me. Apart from a Rolex I have been wearing, my 1990 Lungomare with a white Arabic dial but with three numeral 12 6 and 9 and a date at 3. It is an L3 632,4 and I know little about it except it is beautiful and it keep better time than my Datejust and it... New Conquest Conquest-41mm Blue Dial Mens L37774996 ..read more
