Just found this page today, saw this forum and remembered this watch. I got it in 1990 from my father but stopped wearing as the strap fell apart. I tried to get it repaired but was told I couldn't. I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas? I'd get it done professionally but the couple guys I talked to said it was shot. Hope not ..read more

Hello - I am a newbie to this site. Can you please advise me - I am thinking of buying this model with the Arabic dial which I prefer but is the 'sunray blue' dial a nice VIVID blue? I ask because my Rolex dial was blue but too dull for me.
Apart from a Rolex I have been wearing, my 1990 Lungomare with a white Arabic dial but with three numeral 12 6 and 9 and a date at 3. It is an L3 632,4 and I know little about it except it is beautiful and it keep better time than my Datejust and it...

Good day.
I'm looking for a blued central sweep second hand for a circa 1947 Marine Nationale 5774 (12.68N movement).
These hands are roughly 11.5mm from the pinion hole to the tip, and roughly 14.5mm overall.
I contacted Cousins, and they said "unfortunately parts restricted by Swatch and are currently unavailable."
I've checked eBay, but most vintage Longines hands are in sealed envelopes.
The part numbers on the envelopes make no sense to me.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance...

Hi all!
Can anyone please help me identify this movement? I can’t see any serial number, it might have been written on the case, but unfortunately I don’t have it. I would really appreciate any information about it! Many thanks ..read more

I'm looking for some guidance on getting a vintage wittnauer movement out of the case.
I have the stem out, but I'm faced with, two things.
The movement is still in tight and I'm not seeing how to get it out of the case from the back, but coming out the front of the case is stumping me also since i don't see a bezel or splits anywhere in the top part of the case.
Thanks,

Hi all
I am looking for a bracelet for my 40mm Spirit which has 21mm width. Do all Longines 21mm bracelets fit the Spirit? Or does the actual Spirit bracelet have to be sourced.
Thanks in advance
