The photo shoot this time was more elaborate than any surprise proposal I’ve done before, so I’d like to share this memorable experience.
It was a surprise proposal request, and the location was a room in a hotel in Arashiyama, Kyoto. The client, a gentleman, requested to set up cameras in the room to capture the moment of the proposal on video. It was my first time receiving such a request, so I was a bit anxious about whether I could do it or not. However, we had various meetings over an extended period, and the day finally arrived.

I recently conducted a pre-wedding photoshoot in Kyoto with an amazing couple! Our journey began in Kyoto’s Gion district, exploring captivating locales like the Yasaka Pagoda area, traditional narrow pathways, and the scenic Maruyama Park adorned with beautiful autumn leaves. The couple shared their creative ideas for poses, enriching the shoot with a collaborative spirit. I had an extensive photoshoot package in Kyoto with a delightful couple! Their keen interest in Japanese history, customs, people, and Anime added a layer of joy to our time together. We explored iconic places like Fushimi Inari Shrine, the Gion area, and Arashiyama, all known for their tourist appeal and fantastic photo opportunities.

Osaka Castle Park is one of Osaka’s renowned locations for photography. I recently had the opportunity to conduct a surprise proposal photoshoot there, and it yielded numerous fantastic shots. The gentleman was visiting Japan with his girlfriend and her family, all of whom were exceptionally friendly and pleasant.

I had the honor of orchestrating a surprise proposal photoshoot at the picturesque Enkoji Temple in Kyoto. My anticipation grew as I waited in a room with a breathtaking view of a Japanese garden.
